Armenia and Azerbaijan back at it again

Protest in Armenia over the recent turmoil in the Caucasus Mountains

Protesters in Armenia’s capital Yerevan called on Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan to resign Tuesday, hours after he denounced calls for a “coup” as Azerbaijan launched a military operation in Armenian-populated Karabakh.

People gathered in Yerevan’s Republic Square outside of the PM’s office calling him a traitor and demanding that he resigns. If you recall the Armenian people were already pissed off at him for losing the war in 2020.

These protests are fueled by the Azerbaijan’s forces who rained artillery fire (footage on our Instagram post about this story) on Armenian positions in Nagorno-Karabakh this Tuesday. Local Armenian Ethnic groups in the area are asking for a sit down with the Azerbaijani Government who said and that they will continue its anti-terrorist operation against the Armenian Forces that are there “illegally” and won’t stop till they leave as well calling for the separatist government of Nagorno-Karabakh dismantles itself.

Russian peacekeepers published footage recently showing them helping evacuate civilians in Karabakh. (Footage on our Instagram page)
