In a recent statement, Turkish President Erdogan commented on the Israel-Palestine situation, drawing comparisons to Turkey's involvement in Karabakh and Libya. He said, “Just as we entered Karabakh, just as we entered Libya, we can do the same to Israel. There is no reason why we should not. We just have to be powerful.”
Some interpretations suggest this was not a direct threat of war. Instead, Erdogan may have been referring to Turkey's actions in 2020 when it sent military personnel to Libya in support of the United Nations-recognized Government of National Accord. Similarly, in Nagorno-Karabakh, Turkey provided support through training and supplies during military operations.
