South African EFF party is being torn apart over apartheid song and had some comments about the upcoming BRICS summit

It was during a Saturday rally that Julius Malema, leader of the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF), sang "Kill the Boer, the Farmer" to some 90,000 cheering supporters in a crowded stadium in Soweto.

The Boers are the descendants of the first Dutch settlers.
“Here is a man determined to start a civil war,” accused John Steenhuisen, leader of the liberal-inspired Democratic Alliance (DA). He described Julius Malema - "Juju", as South Africans call him - as a "bloodthirsty tyrant" determined to incite "mass murder".

South Africa's radical leftist opposition party, EFF, urged the leaders of China, India and Brazil to boycott the upcoming BRICS summit in solidarity with Russian president, Vladimir Putin.

Speaking at an anniversary rally for South Africa's third largest party, Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF), Malema also denounced Washington's pressure to turn against the Russian leader.
"We call on the president of the People's Republic of China, India and Brazil not to come to BRICS Summit in solidarity with President Putin, they must say: 'You touch one of us, you touch all of us'", said Julius Malema, leader of the EFF party.

Captain Ibrahim Traore president of Burkina Faso after Paul-Henri Sandaogo Namibia. At age 34, Traoré is currently the youngest serving president in the world.

The west African country Burkina Faso has been dealing with coups, ISIL, and protest against its former colonizer France. The newly appointed President Traore has been very open about his ties with Moscow and eagerness to work with Putin.

During the summit held in St. Petersburg on July 27-28, 2023 mentioned the following

"A Russian company and our businesspeople signed an agreement on the export of cereals before our arrival here. Earlier, we restored the airport in the area where this cereal grain is produced. It was exported to Germany and the Netherlands and further re exported to Russia. We decided to establish this air bridge for direct shipping in the future. Speaking of trade, we have many goods that may interest Russia, so I think we should encourage meetings between our ministers and businesspeople. I think you might be interested in our agricultural sector.
We would like to build a plant to process different materials. I know some companies are interested in this, and we can also talk about this in the context of our trade relations."

July 31 (Reuters) - The junta that seized power in Niger last week detained senior politicians on Monday, their party said, defying international calls to restore democratic rule, while fellow military rulers in West Africa expressed their support.

The overthrow of President Mohamed Bazoum has sent shockwaves across West Africa, pitting Niger's former Western allies against the likes of Russia and other junta leaders in the region. The African Union, the U.N., the European Union and other powers have condemned the overthrow of President Mohamed Bazoum.

With takeovers happening in Mali, Burkina Faso, and Niger the following countries have turned to Papa Russia for help. Yevgeny Prigozhin, the head of Russia's Wagner mercenary group, last week welcomed the coup in Niger, and said his forces were available to restore order.
